Mode of Use/Application

ZeniFIBER calcium alginate dressing is available as a pad or rope and may be cut to size. As ZeniFIBER absorbs wound drainage, it turns into a gel that will rinse easily from the wound during dressing changes.

Removal & Change Frequency

If ZeniFIBER is intact at the time of dressing change, moisten with sterile saline to soften for easy removal and consult with your medical provider to discontinue use due to decreased wound drainage. Replace ZeniFIBER daily, when the secondary dressing is changed or as instructed by your medical provider.

Additional Recommended Dressings

Absorbent secondary dressing such as foam, gauze, super absorbent dressings.
